Mission Statement has developed its own River Music sound, a blend of original and traditional American roots music. The organic sound the group projects comes from the blend of instrumentation and the group's unique stylistic approach.

Mission Statement's veteran musicians have individually played concerts, festivals, workshops and other venues in the region since the 1970s, and now have joined together to create this dynamic group.
